This work is mostly realated to a famous solo exhibition in NYC and Tokyo, called MADE IN JAPAN (1996), where the young artist catched all the worldwide critic attention... the Birth of a Star... playing a nightclubbing japanese kid or an alien,the artist creates her plastic planet rapresenting herself like a consumeristic doll. Actually this version of Mori is far from projects like the Dream Temple or Nirvana,because it was done before, and belongs to an artist that has her ironic inspiration in pop culture and manga world. I think it's one her more artificial costume play and that's why I love it...!
